HARVEY O'DEANE PENNELL 1922 - 2005 It is with deep sadness the family announce the passing of Harvey Pennell at the age of 82 on October 10, 2005 at the Grace General Hospital. Harvey will be forever remembered by his loving wife Mary of 56 years; his daughter Deborah (Rudy); his son Barry (Kathy) as well as grandchildren, Alisa, Melanie, Timothy and Andrew; brother Ralph (Cathy). He was predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Pearl. He will also be missed by many relatives and friends. Harvey was born in Kamsack, SK and raised in Swan River, MB. Dad served in the Armed Services in the Second World War as a radio operator where he learned his love for ham radio (VE4XF). He then went to work for the Winnipeg Free Press and after 38 plus years of service he retired in 1984 at the age of 62. Harvey was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 64 years. The family wishes to thank Dr. Borrett and the nursing staff of 3 south at Grace General Hospital for their kindness and care. A private family service has been held. In lieu of flowers donations in Harvey's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
